Mr. Piraino has been involved in many different and unique construction projects since 1970. Having worked his way up through the ranks, he has been afforded the opportunity to experience this business from many different perspectives.

Mr. Piraino started his career in underground utilities in 1970. He learned the business from the ground up. Over the years he has been involved in such major projects as the Tri‑State Tollway, the I‑55 rebuild and many other county and municipal projects. He has held many positions in the industry from field supervisor, to now president and “co-owner” of this contracting company.

Since 1986, Mike has been heavily involved with Underground Contractor’s Association (UCA) of Illinois. He has served as chairman of the Membership Committees and then transferred to the Legislative Affairs Committee which he still chairs and was President of UCA from 2002 to 2004. Mike also sat on the Board of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association (IRTBA) from 2012 to 2015. For the last 12 years, Mike has committed his time to represent the Underground Contractors Association as a Management Trustee on the Board of Trustees for the Midwest Operating Engineers Health and Welfare Fund.
