Whatever it takes.
Jim started with PirTano in 1988 as a laborer and learned the “PirTano Way” to get a job done by understanding the phrase “Whatever It Takes”.
Jim moved up the ladder from laborer to foreman to his current position as superintendent and has seen and dealt with all situations, good and bad. As superintendent Jim has set up jobs from, in his words, crib to casket. From obtaining permits, dealing with villages, state, county or private/commercial contacts. He is responsible for setting up the directional boring equipment and all other necessary equipment on the job sites and each is different. As superintendent he has to use his knowledge of his crews to assign them to the job they are best suited for.
With all the moving parts on a job Jim always tackles the job with “Whatever it Takes”
